About

A Little More

I'm a second-year journalism major and creative writing minor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I currently serve as Photo Editor and Reporter at The Miami Student, the oldest college newspaper in the country, where I direct all photographic content and contribute reporting, including a multi-part investigative series.

My work lives at the intersection of visual and written storytelling. I spent three years as a staff writer and photographer at my high school newspaper, two summers at the Ohio State University Young Writers Workshop studying narrative nonfiction and poetry, and a summer at Ohio University's Summer Arts Program developing skills in digital and alternative photographic processes.

My writing has been published in two university anthologies, and my journalism has been recognized with the All-OCC Journalism Award. I'm a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Investigative Reporters and Editors, and the National Press Photographers Association.

I'm always looking for new stories to tell — whether through a lens, on the page, or both.
